Where a merchant chooses to surcharge, an additional fee may be applied to credit-card transactions to cover processing costs. The merchant sets the surcharge amount and is responsible for disclosing it to the cardholder before the transaction is completed and for ensuring it does not exceed the limits set by applicable card-network rules and state law.
All transactions are subject to the operating rules of the applicable card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). Merchants who surcharge must comply with network notification and disclosure requirements.
By providing bank-account information and authorizing an ACH payment, the payer authorizes the debit of the specified amount from the designated account. ACH transactions are governed by Nacha rules. Payers may revoke authorization in the manner described at the time of payment.
Refund and cancellation terms are set by the merchant collecting the payment. Disputes about a specific charge should be directed to that merchant in the first instance.
WeSignature Payments complies with current PCI DSS requirements, undergoing regular PCI Vulnerability Scans by an approved scanning vendor. WeSignature Payments never stores cardholder information in its system or on its servers and passes all information to NMI, a third-party gateway provider. NMI has continuously maintained PCI DSS Level 1 certification since 2005. See our Terms & Conditions for full security details.
Deposits are typically available the next business day after a transaction settles. Timing may vary based on the processor, the payment method, and risk review.
